Description:
Excellent example of a Canadian Locomotive Works Pacific built in April of 1948 with the white walled drivers adding a touch of elegance. Specis - 70" drivers, impressive 250 psi boliler pressure, 20x28" cylinders, enigne weight of 229,500 lb, tractive effort of 34,000 lb. Most of this class was scrapped in the early 1960's. Note on back by unknown photographer - "Leaving Smiths Falls, Ont. For Montreal, Quebec. Newest & last of 1200 series."
