| Rebuilt 2015 by Ohio Locomotive Works to "Lean & Green" specs using 1 million in Federal funds. Alco prime mover replaced with 1550 HP Rolls Royce/MTU V16 for road work. A 165HP John Deere is also on board for light moves & switching. This cuts emissions by 95% & fuel consumption by 75%. Completely rewired w TMV controls in a statdard throttle stand/ fully rebuilt trucks & traction motors, TECU wheelslip control & engine monitoring module installed in new electrical cabinet. |
