Blairsville. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred McLeod that was taken in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, during September of 1953. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7145, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1913 and retired in May of 1954 after 41 years of service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Pennsy Steam Locomotives" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (109-13). |
