| USAX 4600 pulls string of 68-foot DODX heavy duty flatcars loaded with M-88 heavy recovery vehicles and M-1IPs from 1-632D AR into the railroad yard at Ft. McCoy, WI on 18 Jun. ’00. The lead flatcar is DODX 40142, the second is DODX 40224. Some 89-foot bi-level autoracks loaded HMMWVs are visible on the left. This yard used to be jointly served by MILW and C&NW, currently just UP. TF 632, a battalion-size task force consisting primarily of units from 1-632D AR and 2-127TH IN, WIARNG, was rail loading its equipment for deployment to Gowen Field, ID, for AT ’00. |
