| CSX 8815 brings up the rear of this steel train that is headed for the Gerstel Ameristeel Mill. It is passing over S. Minnisink Ave./Cheesequake Rd. The abandoned siding to the right was once used to serve DuPonts Parlin Plant which has been in operation since 1904. It is still in operation today producing an assortment of products including Teflon. Its unfortunate that the railroad is no longer being utilized to serve this facility. |
