Crossing the Palouse River.  Contributor's Pick!       
Washington and Idaho Railway #20 crosses the Palouse River, just north of the town of Palouse, in a region called the Palouse. This particular unit was formerly owned by the Palouse River and Coulee City RR, which used to be the Palouse River Railroad.
