Looking toward old ACL passenger station
Looking timetable south at Thomasville we see the old ACL passenger station to the right of the mainline. The tracks going off to the right form a wye and the old line to Perry FL. I understand it goes as far south as Metcalf FL now. Trackage to the left is remnants of the old AB&C line that used to go all the way to Fitzgerald via Moultrie and Tifton. CSX now operates it as far north as Coolidge GA.

David Barrentine General The trackage to the left also runs up to Albany through Camilla. The GFRR uses this line on nearly a daily basis. 7/18/2009 12:35:08 PM
Walt Rogers General The old Moultrie line breaks off the main past the curve in this pic. Used to be a daily local running there. Have an old AB&C lock from a tool shed in Moultrie. 3/29/2010 12:30:49 AM
