Description:
The fireman was busy filling the tender with water when this photo was snapped by Wm E. Paul. Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in January of 1943, the loco served well until its retirement and scrapping in January of 1959.. Original specs - G3 class, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, 75" drivers, engine weight of 299,000 lb and tractive effort of 42,500 lb.
