Album Info:
Fairly nice group of b&w photos of Conrail Alco Century Series models. These were all taken by an unknown rail fan at the Buckeye Yard in Columbus, OH during the mid 1970's. The photos were re-posted after the RRPA crash.

CR C628 #6738
Description:
Originally built by Alco as PRR C628 #6300 in March of 1965, it rolled over into the Penn Central roster as PC 6300. When Conrail took over, it was renumbered CR 6738. The loco was gone from the roster by 1988, presumedly retired and scrapped. No photographer was listed for this photo.

CR C636 #6787
Description:
Built by Alco in April of 1968 as PC 6337, it moved over to the Conrail roster after the massive PC collapse. It was reunumbered to CR 6787 and lasted on the roster for awhile. It was off the CR roster by 1988, presumedly retired/scrapped. No photographer was listed for the photo.

CR C425 #2427
Description:
Buildt by Alco in February of 1965 as PRR 2427, it rolled into the Penn Central era PC 2427. It was later renumbered to CR 5065 It was off the CR roster by 1988, presumedly scrapped. No photographer was listed for the photo.

CR C630 #6779
Description:
Originally built as PRR C630 #6327 by Alco in December of 1968, it migrated to the Penn Central roster as PC 6327 and then onto the Conrail roster as CR 6777. Here it wears the black "death shroud" paint scheme. The loco was not on the roster by 1988, presumedly retired/scrapped before then. No photographer was listed for the photo.
