This caboose was a wide vision caboose built by International Car in 1976.The caboose now resides in St Francisville, LA, in a park across the street from the old IC depot. An information sign next to it in the park states, "The was purchased by the city in 1995 and moved to its current location through a generous donation by Richard Holcomb . . . It is a model M930 wide vision cupola steel caboose made by the International Car Company. The cose new was $80,000 . . . built in 1976." The photo is from the Conniff collection. |
