Here is a one-page article entitled "GG-1 Gets Its 25 Year Button." It was published originally in the September-October 1959 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 20. "The Philadelphia Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society recently paid homage to No. 4800, the first GG-1 purchased by the Pennsylvania. A plaque commemorating its 25th anniversary was presented to Harry L. Decker, PRR mechanical engineer, in Pennsylvania Station-30th Street, Philadelphia." (Page 20)

Large photos depict Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics rated at 4,620 horsepower each. Top Photo: Engine #4899 built by General Electric in August of 1934, renumbered "4800" in November of 1934, and presently on exhibit at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. Middle Photo: Engine #4902 built in Juniata in May of 1940. Bottom Photo: Engine #4876 built in Juniata in January of 1939.
