Title:
PRR F3A #9545
Description:
Fairly nice roster shot of Pennsylvania D3A #9545 taken by rail photographer Max Miller as it sat near the Richmond, IN, station. #9545 is an EF-15 built by GM-EMD as an EH-15 in October of 1948, rated at 1,500 horsepower, later re-geared and reclassified as an EF-15. The loco was retired in December of 1963 after just 15 years of revenue service. It did not make it to the Penn Central/Conrail years like some of its sisters did.
