Album Info:
What a lean month for trackside opportunities. Really bleak windy weather just about every Saturday and Sunday. I was able to catch the elusive CP Havelock freight run, and got one decent shot from the Dorval Station platform on my way back from Montreal.

Description:
Two sparking ECO units sandwich the usual GP38-2 on today's Havelock run. Despite the overcast skies, there's a nice early winter feel to the scene that makes these bright red diesels stand out.

Description:
I thought it was dog stew when out of the corner of my eye I saw this jet black dog flying through the tall grass heading directly at the train - only to put the brakes on and come to a skidding stop just inches from the tracks. This pooch has probably done the same daily train-chase-bark routine a thousand times, and was likely in no danger, but it sure scared the heck out of me.

Description:
In the short time I was at Dorval Station, waiting for my train back to Toronto, I at least got good train action. This is Ottawa bound train just ahead of my train to T.O. Two CN freights rolled past, and just beyond the trees is the Montreal commuter track corridor where I caught AMT 1328 (F59 PHI) heading west.
